Summary: International travel is up, out of state travel slightly down and in state vacations are up.
Some of our clients (hotel and motel owners) are breathing a sigh of relief as they had braced for the worst. It is much better than what happened here in the 70's.

I took the Pikes Peak train last week. It was chock full of German tourists. They bought out the O2 cans at the top. Somebody really should have told them that going from sealevel to 14,110 above sea level should not be done in one day!
How the heck do you get negged for that comment? You tick someone off ranch?

I live in an area that attracts tourists from all over the midwest and our local news says we are having record numbers of tourists this year.
