      I know that I won't be driving any less this weekend because of gas. Lets say that it costs $1 more per gallon than normal and I would go 500 miles round trip and I get 25 miles per gallon on the highway for argument sake. That means that the trip would cost me an extra $20... $20 extra for a weekend trip shouldn't make a dent in most budgets - and I would guess that most who say that it does - are just using it for an excuse.
