Sept. 25, 2006, 1:09 p.m.Yet another case of the Bush Administration spreading lies to the American People. They want you to eat a hearty breakfast so that you'll be too distracted by food and your own ever expanding obesity to pay any attention to your morning paper...then they can implement their fascist right wing agenda and we wont know until its too late. Everything is Bush's fault....everything...lousy republicans...thank god science is setting the record straight

Sept. 25, 2006, 1:44 p.m.Easeup - Your comment was the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. People have been saying that breakfast is the most important meal since before Bush was born. He can't be blamed for *everything*
Sage - Amen!

Sept. 25, 2006, 2:01 p.m.I never liked breakfast food anyway. My idea of a good brekafast is a Bloody Mary with a piece of celery in it. Once I ate at a fast food place and had a banana split for breakfast...the family sitting next to me was ordering breakfast and a little girl saw my banana split and told her Mom she wanted a banana split for breakfast. Her Mom told her 'people don't eat ice cream for breakfast'.

Hold on... This just in... Bush is the devil. LOL, hey I did say, that Middle East guy on 60 minutes said it. LOL. Is Bush the Antichirst? LOL, I'm sorry, I'm having to much fun with this, trying to be a writer for the Daily Show, since Chappelle's off the air. LOL, (not really).

Sept. 25, 2006, 4:27 p.m.Maybe I'm not getting other peoples sarcasm or something...I mean do people actually believe I wrote that comment with even a modicum of seriousness? Its CLEARLY intended to be humorous...lighten up folks...I was simply taking a stab at the fact that almost every story that gets posted here ends up being politicized and debated...even when it has almost no relevance at all to politics...

Sept. 25, 2006, 4:46 p.m."Breakfast is NOT the most important meal of the day"
The article neither confirms or disproves this, it only notes that there is disagreement among the "experts" on the matter.
Yet someone who is too lazy to wade through the whole thing would think that the issue was settled.
Another instance of headline journalism spreading misinformation

Sept. 25, 2006, 4:49 p.m.Couldn't pull up the replacement article either, but most of the this discussion is off topic. If you wake up hungry and do better with breakfast, eat a good one, and figure out what sticks to your ribs best. If you wake up not hungry and uncomfortable if you eat, don't. What's so hard about that?

When I first read your article, I knew it was written tongue-in-cheek. But when people started taking shots at you, I began to have doubts.
In real life, I try to avoid dealing with people with strong political opinions, for the reasons that you've given - they're completely humorless, and are spoiling for an excuse for being offended.

Sept. 25, 2006, 5:27 p.m.When you wake up your body is in a fasting state from not eating since the night before. If you refrain from consuming calories, especially the ones from fat and carbohydrates at this point, do some moderate-intense cardiovascular exercise and only eat a light meal that afternoon and eat lightly every 3 to 3 1/2 hours after that you will shred pounds and lose weight. If you can add a low dosage stimulant such as caffeine during your morning exercise your metabolism will increase even more for a little while. Moderation is the key and food nutrient density is more important than that foods quantity.
I eat breakfast everyday by the way, all in a blender.

Sept. 25, 2006, 5:30 p.m.i watched the film. i believe kathy does not eat breakfast because she is lonely. no dad (not explained fully why).. mom gone to make ends meet, no brothers and sisters... poor kid. so in conclusion, i must agree with easeup.. its all Bush's fault. (hope i haven't offended any left or right wingers...) oo.. and my most pressing question!!!....JUST WHO IS THAT FILM CREW IN KATHY'S BEDROOM!
