Brunei sultanate - Fairy Tale palaces »

Its dynasty has been ruling this country continually since 14th century, when the first ruler obtained the title of sultan. In 16th century an attempt to invade the sultanate by Spaniards was stopped and the sultanate gained control over the surrounding islands.
